The activities for these week were very captivating. I never crossed my mind all the possible reasons and rules in typography. One of the things that grabbed my attention was all the functions of fonts: how fonts can impact readability and legibility; how they can be used to create a sense of visual hierarchy on the page; how they evoke emotions and have their own personalities.
I also found this very interesting article of rules using text https://thevisualcommunicationguy.com/2014/07/01/18-rules-for-using-text/ . It was so engaging because it explained why a well designed text is the key to make a document visually appealing. The 18 rules gave me great ideas of how to improve the way I use text in my documents because they were clear and easy to digest.
